Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were very clean, and I especially loved the steam room, but they were so spacious that they forgot to include the bathroom. The view of the castle was a nice touch. The service was warm and welcoming initially, but later, it seemed like they had a 'do not care' attitude, which was disappointing. The location couldn't have been more central, although it could use a bit of an update. The dining experience was most disappointing, with a long wait for food, and the price seemed overpriced. The facilities overall were decent.
The hotel room had some issues like a very noisy flush, missing amenities, and dead batteries which was disappointing. However, the balcony with a view of the castle was a nice touch even though the price was considered high.
The hotel's rooms were lovely, clean, and modern but a bit hot and stuffy due to a connection/Ariel issue; however, they were quite spacious. The service was very obliging with requests, most helpful, and very friendly, even under pressure, especially noticeable at breakfast. The location was a huge bonus to the property, with enthusiastic staff making it even better. The dining experience was very tasty with lots of choices and great value for money, although not as big as expected. The facilities provided were excellent.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were very very clean, modern, and comfortable, but some issues like a wonky toilet seat, cupboard doors that didn't fit, and a noisy flush were a downside. The service was excellent, especially the restaurant manager and reception staff, but the location was missing convenient parking. The dining was pricey and not the best value for money. Despite some drawbacks, the hotel is in a great location near the main attractions.
I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms were surprisingly comfortable, considering I opted for one of the cheaper options. I was delighted with the quality coffee and fresh milk provided, a nice touch as I dislike UHT cartons. Although my room was by the roadside, I could easily request a different location. Having a double bed was a lovely bonus.
The hotel offers fantastic rooms that are large, airy, and comfortably furnished with multiple beds, providing great value for money. The service was attentive and kind, with unexpected wine offerings during the social hour. The location is excellent, very central and close to major attractions. Dining options were varied and satisfying, although the atmosphere could be improved. Overall, a great stay with friendly staff and comfortable rooms.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were very comfy, with a nice bathroom, and there was even a little 'tuck box' of treats waiting for us with crisps and Tunnock's caramel wafers. The location was perfect for exploring both the New Town and the Old Town, with easy access to all the top restaurants. The service was lovely, and the staff were super helpful throughout my stay. The dining was a mixed experience, with some really tasty dishes but also a few disappointments. Overall, a great value for money stay with a few minor areas that could be improved.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, with quick access to all the restaurants and bars I wanted. The room, although quiet and clean, had a few issues with noise from nearby areas and heating, but the staff did their best to resolve them. The dining experience left much to be desired in terms of food quality and value for money.
